Born in Minneapolis, I studied art at the Walker Art Center; earned my B.F.A. at Saginaw Valley State University; learned and mastered the ancient art of wire art (wire wrap and wire sculpture) in 1991 at the Craft Guild of Dallas.

A lifelong love for rocks and gems led to combining gold and silver wire with all varieties of gemstones. When I taught myself to fuse dichroic glass cabochons and beads it added another dimension of design expression to my varied lines of original jewelry.

I have exhibited my jewelry in various galleries, gem and mineral shows, art and fine craft fairs throughout the country. My studio is in Saginaw, Michigan and am currently teaching classes throughout the country.
